Creating Hope

This colorful and playful illustration was created using Procreate. The transition of nighttime and outer space into the brightness of day represents the challenges we all face in life. The abstract manipulation of the rainbow reminds us to always seek the light and move forward to our dreams.

Creating Hope

Inspired by a quick sketch drawn in 2013 and brought to life during a dark time during the summer of 2019.

After sharing this work in progress with a charity I volunteer with, this work was completed to inspire hope, and customized with a Sunshine Kids logo (lower left corner paint can) and a print was donated to their annual fundraising Gala in November 2019 (and raised $5,000 to help benefit Kids with cancer).

This piece was a personal reminder to myself, that no matter how dark and challenging life may get, as an artist, I always have the ability to create hope and to find the light again, through art.
