Bio
A "creative unicorn,” Jess has extensive experience in print and digital graphic design. Her passions include Illustration, 3D and—because she believes EVERYONE is creative—teaching traditional and digital art classes for kids and adults.

In 2017, Jess dabbled in code through an intensive iOS app development boot camp and then worked on the Reading Attention Tutor iPad App as the UI/UX Designer and Front-End Developer in 2018. These experiences enabled her to develop a deep understanding of how technology works, which has greatly benefitted all realms of her creative life (and instilled empathy for when software doesn't work!).

Jess has worked as a freelance designer, serving clients such as the Earls Lappin Team; charities such as the Sunshine Kids Foundation and Keira's Kougars Care; Bea Wray, author of the best-selling book "What an MBA Taught Me … But My Kids Made Me Learn"; restaurants, remodeling companies and more. She has also worked as an in-house graphic designer for companies including John R. Wood Properties and Whole Foods, served as a guest Illustrator on Adobe Live, and was a 2020 Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund recipient.
Currently, Jess is writing for CreativePro, serving as an Ambassador for the Adobe Illustrator Prerelease Community, volunteering as an Adobe Community Expert, and working with a select group of clients.

In her free time, Jess crochets, folds origami, plays the ukulele, voraciously reads a variety of genres, writes, and creates as much as she can!
